A heavy rainstorm led to serious flooding which affected the Mid Wai Chai and garage. The water level rose up to 3 ft. above land surface and about 40 families were affected.
The Antiquities Advisory Board (AAB) was invited to assist in the review of the Historical Building Conservation Policy and subsequently released the consultation document, “Looking forward, Valuing the Past: Heritage Conservation Policy” in June 2014. Consultation included public consultation, public participation, and telephone interviews.
The Southern District Council discussed the redevelopment of Wah Fu Estate and the five pieces of land that were proposed to be redeveloped by the Government (Pokfulam Village was not in the list).
