This workshop was held to promote food production safety in HK through the revival of local agriculture. The participants made preserved sausages using ingredients from local food suppliers.
This poluck event is heald yearly to develop new and positive relationships amongst villagers through collective activities. Every family makes a dish to share with everyone else. Lok Gun Yuen also shared vegetables grown in the garden.
Villagers gathered in Choi Yuen Tei and wrapped rice dumplings and cooked them over a wood fire. They shared the rice dumplings with the public and HKU student volunteers.
